May 6, 2012 11 a.m.-2 p.m. North Beach area and in front of the Tybee Lighthouse Museum. Come fly a kite and help raise awareness and learn about Parkinson’s & other Movement Disorders.
Every year, Tybee Island’s idyllic North Beach is transformed into a surreal landscape dotted with elaborate castles and wild creatures cast by the imaginations and creative skills of SCAD students. Yep, it’s time for the SCAD Sand Arts Festival on Tybee!
Come join us May 4th on the North Beach from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. and try your hand at sculpting in the sand. Plan to spend the day so you’ll be able to take in all the fantastic sculptures along the beach. Just bring a picnic lunch, drinking water, sunscreen, shovel, bucket and carving tools (spoon, putty knife, etc). The sand is already there!
And, one of the best ways to enjoy the sand, surf and fun on Tybee Island is to have your own Sandcastle!
This home is a stunner! You will love the spaciousness of this home, the wonderful enclosed porch area and the ocean views from the deck. You will love the little bridge that takes you from this house over the sand dunes to the ocean’s waves. Also, it’s a wonderful location for walking to everything, including the restaurants, library, grocery store and park. Perfect home. Perfect location.
